<idle hands are the devil's tools>

I often find myself with excess energy after work, and I like to pour it into personal projects. Some of them are more successful than others. As I find free time, I'll make pages devoted to each of these.

Morning Coffee

Probably the most successful of my side projects, it's still actively developed and occasionally people even give me money for it! Fancy that! Read all about my Firefox extension here.

Coaster Metrics

I'm a huge roller coaster fan, and like to construct devices to measure the experience in objective ways. My current plans involve overlaying accelerometer data on top of a first-person video of the ride, and numerically comparing the physics of the experience in the different parts of the ride car.

Computers for English Majors

While in college, I taught a short course on technology for people who were afraid of technology. I've slowly been in the process of turning those lectures into essays. Once I have a few in the pipeline, I'll publish them in blog format. I don't think they're especially enlightening, but people seemed to enjoy and learn from them, and I like demystifying technology.

Angel

A 2d game prototyping framework that started while I was at EA and has since been released as open source. Follow it on Google Code.
